Men, bees and flowers
Honey is an extremely fascinating product, because more than any
other food, it is born of a very special relationship between man
and nature. Indeed, to produce honey man must interact with insects
whose biology is very far from his own: the bees. But bees and men
do have a common behaviour: they are both "social" beings.
There's another aspect that makes honey so special: the very close
relationship between bees and flowers. Bees obtain nectar directly
from flowers and in exchange they help pollination by transporting
pollen from one flower to another.
